Part of Pancake House’s Early Art Initiative and presented in partnership with the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library (HMML), the Temporary Institute of Early Art is an exhibition of new work inspired by objects within the HMML archive.
Each artist selected an object from the HMML digital repository to research and respond to creatively. Inspiration objects span thousands of years and multiple continents of origin, showcasing the breadth of the HMML collection and the varied interests of these six artists of disparate backgrounds and disciplines.
